Rock and Roll Guitars (E27)

It took me about an hour to realize that Scott chose all of his song based on the guitar work in each one. Hmmm. Considering the fact that I knew Scott was a guitarist in retrospect this seems just a bit dense on my part. Well, I caught up eventually and joined in the feast of guitars, admiring the work of Jimmy Page, Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh among others. Rock and Roll Guitars.

In this collection we heard two Scott Lask originals as well… work that sheds light on important times in his life.

Classic Guitar Rock this week on Lester the Nightfly (E27).

CLASSIC ROCK

Scott’s Selections

Scott did not just live through the era of the great rock and roll guitarists… he played his way through it. An accomplished guitarist, Scott brings us his first hand impressions of great rockers and their work.

Through Scott’s eyes we feel the power of Jimmy Page as he prowls through The Rain Song, Stairway to Heaven, and other classic Zeppelin tracks. And he adds in some Hotel California… for good measure.
