Alicia Nicole, When Heaven Comes (E30)

Alicia Nicole has a new record called When Heaven Comes. And you get to heart it in our interview on Lester the Nightfly. This 27 year old (Happy Birthday Alicia, 7-5-21!!!) has a high musical intelligence, having explored the music of the 60’s, and 70’s for many years. She feels that this classic era of rock and roll informs the music we listen to today and inspires her to write the highly memorable songs that she has created to date.

Alicia was generous enough so spend a few hours with our host, PJDJ, and so we return the favor and have created two shows devoted to her work and that of the artists that inspire her. She is delightful. I am sure you will love these two fun and fascinating interviews.

My fascination with music started on the piano when I was seven. At that time, I would hide away by myself and write songs over piano melodies I came up with. I was so shy back then that I never really shared my love for singing until after I graduated high school. That’s when I became interested in music production and performing. I started performing in 2016 and released a collaborative album with producer Pxncho called “A.M.ZOL Part 1.”
