WHAT MAKES LANE 8 SO GREAT?
Lane 8, whose real name is Daniel Goldstein, is an American electronic music producer and DJ known for his distinctive blend of deep house, progressive house, and melodic techno. Here’s an overview of his career and style:
Background and Early Career
• Origin: Born in San Francisco, California, Lane 8 began his musical journey making garage rock with his sibling. He later experimented with hip-hop beats, influenced by artists like Pete Rock and DJ Premier.
• Breakthrough: He gained recognition in 2012 with his unique sound, which caught the attention of Anjunadeep’s A&R executive Jody Wisternoff. He signed with Anjunadeep in 2013
